End of Week 1




At the end of our first writing week it's time to pack up our ideas. We've got an outline of a story. It is set in a Necromancer's dungeon turned corporate office called GORE (General Occult Resurrection Enterprise). The game mechanic divides the story into a neat 5 act structure in form of 5 necromantic rituals that must be performed by the audience. Each of this rituals pushes the story on to the next level with one team ending up on top each round.

There will be five characters – two of them team leaders who's main job it will be to facilitate decision making amongst their teams. Two characters – the management – will be pushing players towards team work and out sacrificing the opponents. And then there is Lord Rottenstench (pronounced ROH-TEN-STENK), a bit of a rogue character, who is the little devil on players shoulders pushing them towards egoistic game play and the betrayal of their team.

By working as a team, you advance through the Necromancy ranks. But the ultimate winner is the person on the winning team, who has submitted the least of their resources by the end.

However, there will also be a twist where players can beat the game, instead of their team mates making this a truly unique experience.
